This week we are going to be reading and praying psalm 84. Here’s what is going to happen in each of the age groups and what you can be talking about with your children ahead of the weekend as you lead them and we back you up.

General Information

During the school year we have groups for children from Babies to Grade 5 on a Sunday morning during the 9 am service.

9am:

• Transformers (Grade 4&5) meet at the farm on Fore Rd, and can sign in there from 8:45am
• bigKids (age 4-Grade 3) meet at the farm on Fore Rd, sign in takes place there from 8:45am
• Tots (age 2-3) meet in the downstairs room of the annex at Matsqui Hall, sign in there from 8:45am
• Babes (babies & up to age 2) are loved on, played with, held and prayed for in the smaller room in the downstairs of the annex at Matsqui Hall, sign in at any point of the morning, before, during or after worship.

The move from Babes to Tots and Tots to bigKIDS is flexible and different children move at different times to the next group up as we feel they are ready. Please talk to us if you would prefer you child move or stay where they are as they approach these transition ages.

What are we learning?

Everyone at the Bridge from age 2 to adult is studying the same passage of Scripture on any given Sunday. The bible passage being read and preached in the adult church will be the same passage being read and talked about in the children’s groups. This should make it easier to talk about what you’ve been learning as you eat lunch together as a family.

On Mondays families that are registered in Bridge Kids will receive an email with the story for the coming weekend, the main themes for TOTS & bigKIDS and TRANSFORMERS, a memory verse and some thoughts or ideas to help you as you talk about the passage as a family. The memory verse will be tested by the children’s leaders when they come on Sunday. This way the BridgeKIDS team is backing the parents up and as they take the primary role in the teaching, training, leading and equipping of their children.
