To register your family for BridgeKIDS please complete the registration form at the bottom of this page. Thanks to those of you who have already done this. We are excitedly getting ready for the new year to start.

SUMMER TIME (Father’s Day to Labour Day)

In the Summer we take a break from three services and have only one big service together. The Kids teams have the summer off but there is a wonderful crew of adults and youth who will be leading the little ones in their groups at the farm during the one big service. BABES and TOTS (up to age 3) will be in the portable behind the barn and J.KIDS (age 4-5) will be in a tent out on the soccer field. The Bridge Kids leader for the morning will welcome and register the children beside the big red bus so go to them first to get a name tag and security number. The children in the TOTS and J.KIDS will be learning something similar to the adults at their own level during their group time.

Big KIDS will be with their parents in the outdoor amphitheatre so bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on. We want to help keep the children focused during the morning and having something to do helps them to listen so children stop by the welcome table on your way in to collect your BIG KIDS SUMMER CHALLENGE!

See you at the Farm at 10am.

(If it is raining on a Sunday morning or the weather looks like it might do then we will go back to two services in the Hall at 9am and 11am but there is only BRIDGE KIDS in the 9am service on those days. The BABES and TOTS will be in the annex at the hall at 9am and the J.KIDS will be in the portable at the farm.)

SCHOOL YEAR (September 12 – Mid June 2011)

During the school year we have groups for children from Babies to Grade 5 on a Sunday morning during the 9am and 11am services.

9am:

• Kids (grades 1-5) meet at the Barn on Fore Rd, registration takes place there from 8:40am
• JR Kids (age 4 and Kindergarten) meet in the portable at the Barn on Fore Rd, and can register there from 8:40am
• Tots (age 2-3) meet in the downstairs room of the annex at Matsqui Hall, register there from 8:45am
• Babes (babies & up to age 2) are loved on, played with, held and prayed for in the upstairs room of the annex at Matsqui Hall, register at any point of the morning, before, during or after worship.

The move from Babes to Tots and Tots to JR Kids is flexible and different children move at different times to the next group up as we feel they are ready. Please talk to us if you would prefer you child move or stay where they are as they approach these transition ages.

11am:

What are we learning?

Everyone at the Bridge from age 2 to adult is studying the same passage of Scripture on any given Sunday. The bible passage being read and preached in the adult church will be the same passage being read and talked about in the children’s groups. This should make it easier to talk about what you’ve been learning as you eat lunch together as a family.
