Are you interested in serving in BridgeKIDS?
We are getting ready to put together the team for the summer months (July & August). We’d love to have you join us on the team. There are plenty of places and different kinds of things you can do to serve with us and give the teams that have worked all year a break before they jump right back in in September.
An outline of the different age groups is below. There are also roles that are more behind the scenes like craft prep in the week, we’d love to have you with us :)

BABES & TOTS
Babes – ages 0-1
Bridge Babes is our group for babies and toddlers before they reach their second birthday. This group is provided in the downstairs room at the Matsqui Community Hall during the 9am service. Our aim in Bridge Babes is to teach each child that God’s house is a place of safety, security and love. A child’s ability to trust is established by the time they are about 2. Children learn to trust God first through learning security and love with their parents and as a team we want to help them establish a secure foundation that each child’s life of faith can be built upon.
Tots – ages 2-3
Bridge Tots is our group for children aged 2 & 3. This is a fun group that meets in the downstairs annex of the Matsqui Community Hall during the 9am service. As a member of this fabulous team you’ll provide fun activities, worship, prayer and structured play for the children through the sessions. All the activities are designed to help reinforce the lesson, which is based on the passage of the Bible that we are studying as a whole church family.
bigKIDS  – ages 4 to GRADE 3
This group meets in the portable on the farm. They will have a chance to choose an activity as they arrive and then we start small groups at 9:05. From small groups we move into large group time where the Grade 4&5s join us for  singing, story, prayer, games, snack and other things. We will be looking at the same passage as the adult service is studying.
TRANSFORMERS – GRADE 4&5
New for this year we have the Grade 4&5s separate from the bigKIDS for their small group time. They meet in the house at the farm and have small group time and then prep for helping to lead the rest of the morning in the bigKIDS – this might involve everything from snack prep to story telling to worship leading to dance creating to how to lead a small group and a ton of other things too. The leaders in this group will help these pre-teens use their talents and love for God to serve others as they learn together and have fun.

I look forward to working and worshiping with you. Join us!
