MISSIONS
The Bridge supports several different missionaries and ministries.

Create Emerge  - YWAM Australia

Create Emerge is a team that exists to connect people with information and understanding about what’s happening in mission. We track stories of people who are being the hands and feet of Jesus in some tough places, and we share the good news of what God is doing in areas that sometimes we only hear bad news about.  We usually go out to different unreached nations to collect stories a couple of times a year, then we spend too many hours to count editing the footage and making videos, and then we go on tour to churches, home groups, youth groups, high schools and Bible schools to share presentations.  Our intention is to use the stories and information God has given us to call into mission those whom God is calling. ’Create Emerge is a team within Create International, a transnational ministry of Youth with a Mission.

“The vision of Create International is to communicate the message of Jesus Christ in ways that people can understand from their cultural and linguistic background, using tools such as dramatic films, evangelistic artwork, websites, and indigenous music & music videos that can be widely circulated and used by church planting teams, local churches, believers, missionaries, and various organizations.”        www.create-emerge.com         www.createinternational.com

Saskia – Not For Sale Europe

Saskia did her YWAM DTS in January 2008 in Denver, Colorado. From that point on she became passionate about following the calling that God had given her. After her DTS she moved to Cape Town, South Africa where she first found out about the issue of Human Trafficking through a YWAM ministry that worked on the prevention of Human Trafficking through education in at-risk schools. Not long after moving to South Africa she read the book Not For Sale and became involved in the global campaign to end modern-day slavery. She ran an awareness raising campaign with Not For Sale for the 2010 world cup. During that time she developed experience in taking action against human trafficking; from prevention, to identification, to intervention, to the designing of new futures for survivors of slavery. She has developed the ability to articulate the complexities of modern-slavery while staying true to her passion for individual freedom. She assisted in the founding of Not For Sale’s social ventures in both South Africa and the Netherlands and is currently working in Amsterdam on an innovative social enterprise that seeks to empower vulnerable women through training and community.
