LAST WEEK - FEB 5
We talked about Jesus healing two different people and rescuing them from being alone and death. Jesus paid attention to people that others might not see or think very important.
A CHALLENGE
Every time you wash your hands this week think about Jesus touching people who were unclean so he could help them and heal them and rescue them.
THIS WEEK - FEB 12
JOIN SARAH AT THE FRONT OF THE ROOM IN THE ‘PRAYGROUND'
TO READ: John 13:34-35
This Sunday will be almost Valentines and the focus for the kids will be all about love. These two verses are a good start.
A PRAYER
Jesus, you love us. Show us ways to love each other. Amen.
TO DO TOGETHER
Make a list of all the people connected to your family. Can you think of creative ways to reach out and show them love this week.
SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT
Is it better to say, “I love you” or demonstrate love?
How do you like people to show you love?
SEE YOU ON SUNDAY
GATHER AT THE FRONT IN THE ‘PRAYGROUND’
Kids will be hanging out at the front during our gathering this weekend but when you arrive, before the singing starts, find Sarah for a treasure hunt while coffee is going on and everyone is chatting.

THE PRAYGROUND
There will be a couple of tables on the floor in front of the front row with Sarah and other KIDS team people. There will be paper and colours, things to make and do, and ways to engage with what is going on in their own way.
Being at the front enables the children to see and participate.
After all, Jesus did take a little kid and put them at the centre. (Mark 9:36)
