What is bridgeKIDS?

bridgeKIDS is the children's ministry of the Bridge church for children between birth and Grade 5.
God loves the kids of the Bridge. God loves the kids in Abbotsford, Mission and the rest of the world too! Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them. The Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." Our role in bridgeKIDS is to be a safe place where children can learn or develop their understanding of how loved they are because they were made for love by the One who is Love.

Our hope is to encourage children who, as they get to know Him better, are in love with Jesus and worship Him with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. We hope that our children will naturally want to serve Him and follow Him as they learn to love others and care for creation all around them. We hope that the children feel the freedom of expressing fully who they have been created to be.

We place a high value on parents leading their kids and seek to equip them and help them live out authentic faith in front of their children.

Our aim as a team in bridgeKIDS is to enjoy the children and be present with them. We want to be an additional loving adult or teenager working in a supporting role alongside parents. When we work together, church and parents, we can have a greater impact on our kids than we can alone and it is also way more fun!
