Creative Summer - Week 1 - JULY 7

SOMETHING TO REMEMBER (JULY)
The heavens tell the glory of God.
And the skies announce what his hands have made.
Psalm 19:1

THIS SUNDAY
We are on zoom at 9:30am
We are going to celebrate creation all through the summer and the activities will be focused on this for the two zooms and the pizza box activities and of course the Wild Church weeks.

CREATION’S STORY
The sky tells of the glory of God. This is all done without any words!
We’ll read Psalm 19 together and do a painting of the sky. Most of our time together will be painting so see the things you need below

ART ACTIVITY
You will need
Paper that can hold water well (in order of usefulness - watercolour paper, mixed media, cardstock)
Watercolour paint and water
Brush
Salt

I WONDER (SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT)
What message do you think the sun, moon and stars have for us? If they could use words what do you think they might tell us about God?

A WAY TO PRAY - CREATION
Great Creator, you made a beautiful world
I sense you all around me
(Pause to sense and name things you can hear, see, touch, smell and taste)
Help me to care for your creation.
