Although the adults will be meeting this Sunday on Truth and Reconciliation weekend, bridgeKIDS WILL NOT. We will be back on zoom on October 6.
Have a good long weekend.
SOMETHING TO REMEMBER (SEPTEMBER)
Jesus continued to learn more and more and to grow physically. People liked him, and he pleased God. Luke 2:52 (ICB)
SOMETHING TO GET YOU TALKING
What can settlers learn from indigenous people about caring for the land?
A PRAYER
This is part of a prayer translated by Lakota Sioux Chief, Yellow Lark in 1887
Oh, Great Spirit,
Whose voice I hear in the winds
and whose breath gives life to all the world.
Hear me! I need your strength and wisdom.
Let me walk in beauty, and make my eyes
ever hold the red and purple sunset.
Make my hands respect the things you have made
and my ears sharp to hear your voice.
Make me wise so that I may understand
the things you have taught my people.
Let me learn the lessons you have hidden
in every leaf and rock.
Amen
I WONDER
How do we walk in beauty like the prayer above asks?
