WE’RE IN PERSON - KIDS GO OUT
We’ll go out at the coffee break this week, after our sung worship together.
The kids will have a snack (could you help them get a hot chocolate or whatever to bring with them), story, prayer game, and play some other games.
We need a bunch of stuffies this week to tell the story and play a few games. Can you bring some with you? Bring as many as you like, the more the merrier!
If it’s nice enough we will go outside after story time so please dress appropriately!
SOMETHING TO REMEMBER (NOVEMBER)
Love your neighbour as you love yourself. Matthew 22:39b (ICB)
SOMETHING TO GET YOU TALKING
When the weather is wild, how does it make you feel?
What does wild weather show us about the Creator?
A PRAYER
Jesus taught his friends to pray, “Give us today our daily bread”
Every time you eat bread this week, think about things you can be grateful for.
TO READ: JOHN 6:1-14
We’ll do this story this week as we didn’t get to talk about it last Sunday.
Jesus feeds the crowd. Jesus provides what the people need, which in that moment is bread and fish. Later in the chapter he says that he is the bread of life and by putting the two things so close together in his book, John helps us make the link between Jesus providing and also being the one we need.
I WONDER
How do you like to show over the top kindness?
